My name is Angie and I live in Sunny South Florida. I've been married for 28 years, and counting, to my VERY FIRST boyfriend ever! We have two grown daughters and three young grand children. The precious arrival of our first grand daughter was my inspiration for starting my business. Question 1: What kind of products do you offer?

The Diaper Baker offers the most unique baby shower gift; a diaper cake. Our diaper cakes are original, practical, and guaranteed not to be duplicated.Our diaper cakes are an individually hand-crafted tiered creation made up of premium diapers as the foundation and is filled with all of the essentials a newborn baby would need. EVERYTHING IS USEABLE! Diaper cakes are such hip and trendy baby shower gifts that they have been featured on The View, Oprah Winfrey, Good Morning America, InStyle Magazine and a multitude of baby magazines and publications.We also offer organic eco-friendly diaper cakes! Our organic eco-friendly diaper cakes contain all natural products, free of any pesticides, defoliants, or fertilizers.

Question 2: How long have you been working from home?

In early 2006 my daughter was expecting our first grand daughter. I decided I was going to create a diaper cake for my daughter's baby shower to serve as a gift and a centerpiece. The guests started to arrive and one-by-one I was getting asked where the centerpiece was purchased from, where did I find such an exquisite gift, was that a cake made of diapers??? Everyone was amazed. My daughter was the last to arrive as it was a surprise shower for her. The look on her face was priceless when she saw the gift / centerpiece I had made for her. Tears filled up in her eyes with a smile ear-to-ear. I must admit as a mother, seeing your child (regardless of their age) that happy gives YOU complete joy. I decided then and there that I wanted to give others the same feeling that we had....and The Diaper Baker was born! Since then The Diaper Baker has really excelled.

Question 3: What products do you recommend?

That's rather a hard question to answer, since I have so many favorites. We have a range of products you could choose from. If you are more eco-friendly conscious then I would have to say our organic diaper cakes are for you. We offer 2 and 3 tier diaper cakes as well as our diaper wreaths and cupcakes. I have 2 favorites which are the 3 tier Little All Star sports cake for boys and Wiggles and Giggles for girls.

Question 4: What is the price range of your products?

Our prices range from $24.99 - $129.99. We try to give a variety of products that would fit anyone's budget. We try to stay under our competition with our prices and quality.

Question 5: What is your favorite part about working from home?

Working from home is something I always wanted to do. Although our children are grown we can set our own hours and continue to enjoy our grandchildren. It is a great opportunity to stay at home with your children and still earn an income for your household. It is not easy taking care of your children, running a household and working full time outside the home. So I think if you can have the chance to stay home with your children and enjoy your family more, then you should take advantage of the opportunity.

Question 6: What have you done in the past month to improve or promote your business?

I am constantly looking for new ways to promote and improve my business. I have recently entered the world of social networking and I love it! I am all for promoting my fellow small business owner, and social networking has allowed me the opportunity to do that with more ease. It's a great way to promote your business while being able to promote others as well. Pay It Forward!!

Question 7: What advice would you like to share with a fellow work at home mommy?

To stay positive about your product. Believe in yourself and your product. A new business takes time to promote and market. If you work hard at it, it will be rewarding in many ways. Take pride in yourself and your product and always have fun at what you are doing.
